Sunday Chidzambwa named national team coach

ZPC KARIBA coach Sunday Chidzambwa has been named as Zimbabwe Warriors coach for the regional Cosafa Cup tournament.
Chidzambwa becomes the second national team coach after Norman Mapeza who ZIFA said remains interim coach for continental AFCON qualifiers.
In a statement, ZIFA said Wellington Mpandare will double as the team manager for both campaigns.
Meanwhile, former Highlander’s defender Bekithemba Ndlovu will be in charge of the National Under-20 team with Topiary Lupahla as team manager.
Moses Chunga takes over as coach for the Under-17 with Jabulani Zwangubani as team manager while the Under-23 side will be under Godfrey Tamirepi.
In other developments, former Caps United FC player Alois Bunjira comes in as team manager for the Under-15 and with Tafadzwa Mashiri as team manager.
According to ZIFA the coaches will choose their own assistants.
The Mighty warriors will be led by Sithethelelwe Sibanda with Charity Munemo as team manager while Rosemary Mugadza is the new Under-20 coach.Advertisement
