Sundowns suffer Billiat blow

TITLE challengers Mamelodi Sundowns might be without the services of winger Khama Billiat for the rest of the season because of an ankle injury.
The Zimbabwe international aggravated his injury the Nedbank Cup quarter-finals clash against Orlando Pirates this past weekend, having been sidelined for two weeks prior to that match.
Head coach Pitso Mosimane lamented the loss of another creative player, as he has been forced to tinker a lot with his attacking line-up this year with Katlego Mashego, Bongani Zungu, Lebohang Mokoena, Cuthbert Malajila and Rodney Ramagalela pulling up with injuries.
“Khama is still injured. He’s got a moon-boot on,” Mosimane told Goal. “I think he’s out for the rest of the season. We will miss him, we miss all the players who are out.
“It’s going to be tough. We play again on Sunday (against Swallows without Billiat), but we go on.”
Billiat was walking with the assistance of crutches at Loftus Stadium, watching from the stands when his side beat Mpumalanga Black Aces 1-0 on Wednesday night.
Sundowns are the current pace-setters in the league race on 58 points with three matches left.
Kaizer Chiefs are right behind them on 55 points with four matches to play.
