DYNAMOS blew another chance to close in on log leaders Chicken Inn after they were held to a 1-1 draw by Triangle at the National Sports Stadium on Sunday- their second successive home draw, having drawn 0-0 against Tsholotsho in their previous league match at Rufaro.
Dynamos found themselves trailing the visitors who got off the blocks first, surging ahead through a stunning free kick by substitute Felix Kuswatuka on 65 minutes after Augustine Mbara lost balance and tumbled on the turf and had his hand to the ball.
Bulawayo referee Thabani Bamala awarded a free kick and Praise Tonha had his effort parried back into play by goalkeeper Artwell Mukandi and an alert Kuswatuka bundled the ball into the nets to make it 1-0.
After the goal, Triangle grew in confidence with Lameck Nhamo a thorn in the flesh for the Dynamos defence.
The champions, however, also threatened with Patrick Khumbula and Oscar Machapa coming close. And yet the goal remained stubbornly elusive and there was frustration in the stands as fans erupted into derogatory songs directed at the coach.

But a late rally saw the champions earning a crucial goal courtesy of a free kick by Ocean Mushure in referee’s optional time.
“The boys showed greater character to come from behind and get the result. We could have lost 1-0. We didn’t play very well. We didn’t create many chances today. We were playing a very good side that is quick on the ball.
We need to work hard for us to improve. I am really worried by the way we are dropping points at home. We need to continue working hard,” said Mandigora afterwards.
Triangle’s Biggie Zuze said they were pleased to get a point against Dynamos.
“We conceded because of lapse in concentration. It looked like it was not a dangerous ball but it bounced and went in. But we are happy with the performance of the boys.
Getting a point away especially against Dynamos is a good result. We created a good number of chances. We are a scoring team but today we couldn’t score,” said Zuze.
