TRIANGLE have emerged as one of the PSL title contenders but coach David Mandigora is refusing to let his league crown intentions known.
With nine points behind leaders FC Platinum and at position four, Triangle are well within reach of the ultimate prize in Zimbabwean football.
But Mandigora has been diplomatic in their run that could see them making history by being crowned champions.
“We are just playing to finish the season on a better position. That is our target to end the year on a respectable position,” Mandigora said.
“At the moment we cannot be heard talking about the league title. But what is a fact is that the league race is still open and anyone can win it. But we do not want to talk about ourselves in that vein.
“We are just concentrating on our games and make sure we collect as many points as possible in our remaining games.”
Triangle host FC Platinum at Gibbo Stadium on Sunday in a match which could see them cut the gap to just six points if they win as they also pray that second-placed Caps United are held or lose away at Bulawayo City.
They however miss winger Malvern Gaki on Sunday due to suspensio.
