Spread This News

THIS year’s Jameson Vic Falls Carnival is set to once again rock the Falls with its lineup and its adrenalin-pumping adventure activities. Are you up for it?

Adding to the existing lineup of Mango Groove, GoodLuck and Mokoomba, Seed Experiences and Jameson Irish Whiskey have confirmed the next phase of artists, which includes MonArk, who will take to the stage with songs rich in meaning and soul-stirring hooks.

Boosting the Southern African offering, the carnival welcomes songstress Charma Gal, Cape Town’s house/Kwaito/Afrobeat DJ Diloxclusiv and festival’s favourites, Zimbabwe’s own Judgement Yard, Harare’s pop singer-songwriter-producer Ryan Koriya and Steam Train regular DJ Francis are all set to get you partying into 2016.

They say the journey is half the adventure, and #JVFC2015 is all about the adventure

This year, Jameson Vic Falls Carnival offers an extensive array of travel and accommodation packages catering for three-, four- and five-star needs from South Africa. Whether you prefer to fly, drive, bus or train, they have a travel package for you.

Travelers can visit the Carnival and stay in either the Gypsy Outpost Camping area or pick from three-, four- and five-star hotel accommodation options depending on your budget. Two special accommodation offerings are available for travelers – The luxurious Elephant Hills Hotel Superior Excellence Special and the Adventure Lodge Special.

Three days of festival fun, here’s what Jameson and Seed Experiences have in store for you:

Tuesday, 29 December

The train party has already sold out. But don’t worry, for the first time ever, they’ve opened up a second train for your partying pleasure. Tickets are limited, so grab yours before they’re all gone: Take a vintage steam train journey through the Victoria Falls National Park to a secret location deep in the African bush. With local DJ’s pumping tunes through the classic carriages, you’ll be in full party mood when you disembark at the secret stage set up under the African skies.

After selling out in record time last year, the organisers have made the decision to run multiple trips to and from the secret venue, increasing the number of party-goers able to revel in this truly unique experience.

Wednesday, 30 December

Your festival ticket will act as your key while you are left free to wander through the streets of Vic Falls as the town lights up with events hosted by the local backpackers, lodges and bars.

On Tuesday and Wednesday evening, there will be parties in town at multiple venues with free entrance for festival ticket holders. Shuttles will ferry fans to and from the party venues to specific hotels and drop-off points.

Thursday, 31 December

Prepare for the New Year’s Eve experience as over 6000 revellers, bands, DJ’s from all over Africa, stilt walkers and fire dancers countdown to midnight. Many more acts will be added to the line-up in the coming weeks to create an African New Years’ experience.
