THOUSANDS of people travelled from all over the UK last Saturday for the inaugural Africa Music Festival at Leicester’s Nelson Mandela park, braving the rains and organisational chaos for a family fun day.

Artists on the bill included Jah Prayzah, Winky D, Mambo Dhuterere, as we as South Africa’s Makhadzi.
