SUNGURA music maestro Alick Macheso will be one of the major draw cards at this year’s edition of Jam Afro Festival at the Ramgarhia Community Centre in Leicester, United Kingdom on Saturday.

The King of Sungura, will share the stage with South African star Makhadzi, Vee Mampeezy from Botswana, Winnie Nwagi from Uganda and compatriot Sulumani Chimbetu.
The veteran bass guitarist left the country for the UK on Wednesday.
Prior to his departure at the Robert Mugabe International Airport, he promised his fans a show to remember in a video shared on social media.
“Topinda hedu mundege takananga (We are about to board the plane headed for) UK, Leicester, magadziririra here (are you ready)?” he said, with his band members in the background.
