THE Warriors started trooping into camp in Bulawayo Monday ahead of their 2016 Rwanda African Nations championship qualifier against Lesotho at Barbourfields Stadium on Sunday.
It’s the first time since 2013 that the Warriors will be playing their matches in Bulawayo.
Zifa made a decision to switch venues for the national team matches to afford all football followers the chance to watch their heroes in action.
Zifa spokesperson Xolisani Gwesela said after the weekend matches, they expected to have a full house by Tuesday.
The Premier Soccer League (PSL) has also postponed matches this weekend to allow players to join camp.
Gwesela appealed to Bulawayo residents and the nation to rally behind the Warriors.
“We appeal to Bulawayo residents and the nation at large to come in their large numbers and support our national team,” he said.
Waziri Sheha Sheha Waziri from Tanzania has been appointed to officiate the match with assistants Samuel Hudson Mpenzu, Alli Kinduli and Martin Eliphas Sanya, all from Tanzania.
The second leg has been set for Maseru in two weeks’ time.
