We’ll play to win, Mangwiro tells City

CAPS United coach Taurai Mangwiro is aiming at claiming the scalp of Castle Lager Premier Soccer League leaders Harare City whom they meet on Sunday.
Harare City are just 90 minutes away from making history by being crowned Zimbabwean champions for the first time and need nothing short of victory to bag the title.
The season ends on Sunday and City are two points clear of trailing Dynamos and Highlanders.
With Dynamos fans rooting for Caps victory, Mangwiro could answer their prayers with a win that could see Dynamos snatch it at the death just like they have done for the past two seasons.
“Some people are saying Caps will throw away this match to help Harare City win the league title since we are enemies with Dynamos. That is not the case because every coach wants to win every match,” Mangwiro said.
“We are playing to win this game and that is very much possible. The fact that we are playing a team that has been doing very well all season and wants to win the league makes us up our game. We will have to be at our strongest best to ensure victory.”
Caps have a chance of finishing in the top four but they would have to hope that FC Platinum lose.
