KAIZER Chiefs’ Player of the Year Willard Katsande wants to leave a legacy at the Soweto giants.
Katsande dominated Amakhosi’s annual awards for 2015/16, also winning Players’ Player of the Year,  Fan Player of the Season, KC Online Player and four player-of-the-month prizes.
“It all boils down to discipline and dedication,” Katsande told the club’s website. “I demand a lot from myself. At the start of every season I commit myself to be consistent. However, individual glory aside, my main aim is to help the team win games.”
He added: “It goes without saying that with hard work comes reward. I am glad to see my efforts being noticed. I want to be mentioned in the history of this great institution. I want to leave a mark.”
Katsande will be in action for Zimbabwe when they host Malawi in a 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier in Harare on Sunday.
The Warriors top Group L with eight points from four matches – three points ahead of main rivals Guinea.Advertisement
