ZIMBABWE will enjoy just their third appearance in the Africa Cup of Nations after finishing top of their qualifying group.
Expectations are low for the minnows but they will be hoping that works in their favour as they aim to get out of a tough group that includes Algeria, Senegal and Tunisia.
In their previous two tournaments, Zimbabwe have failed to reach the knock-out stages.
Who are Zimbabwe’s best players?
Khama Billiat, striker, Mamelodi Sundowns
The 26-year-old will be relatively unknown when the tournament gets under way but he has the ability to cause the opposition defence trouble.
In 18 caps he has a respectable eight goals including three in six matches during the qualifying.
Costa Nhamionesu, defender, Sparta Prague
The 30-year-old left-back is one of the more experienced players amongst the squad.
He has won the Czech league title, Czech Cup and Czech Supercup since making the move to Sparta Prague in 2013.
