ZPC Kariba coach Sunday Chidzambwa has refused to read more into their recent resurgence, as they gear up to host Caps United in at league match at Nyamhunga Stadium on Saturday.
Although not safe from relegation, ZPC Kariba have lost just once in their last five matches in which they have won thrice and drawn once.
The crucial points gained have seen them rise to five points above the relegation zone.
But to Chidzambwa, Caps’ visit is another game they have to fight extra hard for maximum points.
“I appreciate having to face a good team in Caps United. They have a new coach and have been doing well which I think will present us with a tough day,” Chidzambwa said.
“Some might say we are in top form but that is not correct. We might have collected a fair share of points recently but we still have to fight hard against Caps United.
“We are looking forward to a tough game but at the same time we are gunning for the three points. We have to stay safe.”
The two sides’ last meeting was in the Chibuku Super Cup first round match in which ZPC Kariba prevailed in penalty shootouts.
Caps are yet to lose a match under Lloyd Chitembwe who has taken charge of three league games so far.
